Junior and Senior High
Our ministry is entitled 'The Pulse' after 1 John
3:1, "See how deep the Father's love for us, that we
should be called children of God." Our prayer is
that the students involved in this ministry will
start to have the same love for others that God has
for us.
There are three different opportunities for the 7th
through 12th grades to go deeper in their
relationship with God. All three will be slightly
different, but they will all provide the students
with a chance to really experience God in a more
full and rich way.
Sunday School
Every Sunday morning at 9:45 (JH) / 10:00 (HS) Sunday
School will be a time for the students to receive
teaching and challenges on various topics. The Bible
will still be at the center of everything that is
taught, but the lessons will be narrowed in on
specific topics that teens may be dealing with.
The 6th-8th graders meet just off the fellowship
hall, and the High Schoolers meet in The Loft
which is above the north end of the Family Life
Center (Gymnasium).
Youth Service
On Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 The Youth
Service is a chance for the teens to worship in a
way that they can better relate to, while at the
same time keeping faithful to the substance found in
Jesus Christ. There will also be relevant teaching
at this service that will challenge the students to
either take the first steps of faith or to go deeper
in their walks with God.
Family Foundations
Each Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 There is
something about having a meal together that draws us
even closer than we already are. Wednesday nights
are a good chance for that to take place. After the
meal, the Junior High and High School head into
their room for a time of ‘hitting it hard’ Bible
study. This will show the students that the Bible is
still relevant and useful today.
